the city is going to paint over these soon.

in a few days, the area under this bridge will be covered with 50 gray squares of paint. one to cover up each pigeon.

people want to believe that all graffiti is an ugly, gang related, crime against humanity.

for the people who love graffiti as much as I do, this 'crime against humanity' could be our salvation.

That's some awesome stuff. I imagine the artist going by the name Ivery put a lot of work into the stencils to do those pigeons. It's sad that the officials would want to cover it up.
From a distance you could easily mistake them for real birds :XD:

yes because that wouldn't earn me repeated visits from the cops :giggle:

a friend of mine told me we should go around the city and see who we can't talk to to get these to stay here permanantly.

everyone I've talked to has said they beautify the area and they'd much rather have these than gray squares. these people include random strangers I talked to that happened to be nearby.

the parking lot is public property and the public seems to want these pigeons to stay so we're going to see if we can't get a petition going.

Petition sounds good, the style of graffiti here is so different, here it is just writing your name with a permanent marker. I love the pigeons.
I wanna give this a go now :D (minus the pigeons, thats just art robbery=p)
