it took about an hour.

it's not very complicated, the source file is very simple, but I like it.

I like using code to animate.

the idea of random holds a sort of elegance for me, be it little things like what kind of smoke comes out of a chimney, in what order the lights of a building turn on at night, or where and how a ball bounces across it's stage, it feels like letting go of perfection and just letting what happens happen.

I take a certain sense of satisfaction in knowing that things I make can never be viewed the same way twice, that's always seemed appealing.

really really nice.

My only suggestion would be that you try to make it so that each word stays stationary as it fades out instead of moving along the same path as the ball as it does......then again, you could be perfectly happy with that, in which case dont listen to me :)


what's the music? Is that coldplay?
