Breathtaking. I like how radio towers are so intriguing. Slivers off in the distance along the hills, but when you come close, giant oddly colored and shaped behemoths. I'm really attracted to your work. I talked to you via e-mail a year ago and discussed techniques. You seem to have created the art I've always wanted to see. Amazing.

Listenin to lots of records. Mostly Radiohead, Mastodon, Amon Amarth and Gorillaz. I've been trying to get into photography (you should check out my pics) I used my old cellphone, which has a terrible camera, but I think they're good for what they are. I'm also getting a LOT better at drawing. Like really realistic stuff.

very bright but nice. so are all your pictures from your six differences game from photoshopping or are they real pictures that you worked with?

I went out at night and took those pictures, then photoshopped them. some of the edits were more extreme than others, like the deer head level was composed entirely out of bits and pieces of railings and textures I found online and around my house.

I love pictures like this of cities at night. I don't know why, but I think they look really neat.

lol. I didn't get up at 4, I went to bed at noon.

staying up's the only way to go. this was a photo I liked from a session of photo hunting I'm doing for my new difference game. which is going super well.

I've been dormant for a while on deviantart. I've been working a lot though, just on games instead of pictures.

That's cool, how are they going? I've been missing the colour-coded games! And your dreams lol. Sounds creepy, but it was all interesting. It has to be said though, I'm waiting on the day you create a picture that entrances me as much as the girl-with-vivid-green-eyes-on-your-hand one did.

not really. I think everyone can. I wanted to leave enough in the picture so you could tell that there were two greasy food places right next to eachother.

I looked at it first and thought, 'meh, too overexposed?'

But then looked closer and saw all the clolours and was liike wow :) Its quite simple but the colours and glows are really effective

it's got a bloom effect in there too, kinda adding that fog over the lens effect.

I just got a tripod so all my stuff is going to be overexposed for a while... haha

wow
thats such a cool rainbow effect with the glow and colors
i went to mcdonalds last night at 10:59 and they had already closed the registers but didnt lock the doors. the guy behind the counter was stoned silly and handed us some drink cups and tried to take our orders on the turned off registers but he couldnt turn them back on and the drive through guy took our orders from the drive through computer and it just went down hill from there. it was the most ridiculous trip ever.

lol, stoned silly. whatever gets you through the day I guess. Yeah, I was happy to figure that rainbow effect out. it's just making lots of big hard edged blobs of color all over on a new layer, then blurring the shit out of it out to hundreds of pixels and then putting the opacity down to like 40 try it on a picture some time, it makes anything look trippy.

haha woah thats even cooler that youve made the technique yourself, i thought it was an accidental byproduct of overexposing the shot at night

My dream is to organize a large number of people with portable bandsaws and, in a single strike, cut down 500 McDonald's signs across the country in one night.

Ah... good old Mc Donalds... it actually looks better when the arches are glowing.

No offense, but in a way you're right, photography doesn't seem to be one of your greatest skills. Interesting image though, the glow really does make it rather unique and fun to look at.

The effect might be better suited for a different type of scenery. Ever consider lighting up a forest and taking a picture with this effect? Would be neat to see the leaves glow green, the ground would give off a warm muddy brown color while the tree bark would be a nice mix of browns with a few grays.

Now to end this never-ending comment... my favorite part of this image is the green grass... something about it is just so inviting. Overall a pretty fun and cool image.
